Welcome to Parkway Middle School; Home of the Spartans! It is truly an honor for me to be joining the “Parkway family!”

A new school year is always an exciting time for all. It presents opportunities for various beginnings – new classes, new faces, sometimes new courses, and often new materials. The middle school experience is a time for growth, challenge and adventure. Your child’s’ time at Parkway will be exciting and filled with many new opportunities.

Many thanks for your continued support of our school and its mission. This past school year, the faculty and staff at Parkway joined in telling our students—your children—that we care deeply about them as individuals and as learners. We recognize that each child brings their own strengths, talents, capacities, and callings to the middle school every day. The opportunities to display these characteristics are important in the development of the whole child. We currently have several clubs and after-school activities, as well as intramural sports program for students in grades 7 and 8. This coming school year, we invite you to join us for Parent Coffee Hours to discuss some of our new academic programs, as well as the powerful influence of middle school on future performance.

Our goal is to challenge your child academically, grow them socially and emotionally, and guide them toward independent thinking and problem solving. Students will be encouraged to display good character and to make good choices that will result in successful outcomes. We are looking forward to a great school year filled with enriching activities and learning experiences that will help your child, “Reach Greatness!”
