School's Message

Dear Parents, Community Members, and Friends:

Welcome to Redland Elementary School home of the “Cardinals!” I take immense pleasure in serving as the principal of a school where student achievement and success is the highest priority. Our staff at Redland Elementary takes a proactive approach to ensure the success of each student. We value our diverse group of learners and set the highest learning expectations for all our students by providing a quality education in a safe and nurturing environment. Redland Elementary is a “B" school as rated by the Florida Department of Education. We are a STEAM school and proud to be a National PTA School of Excellence. There is no doubt that we are academically successful due to the support of teachers, dedicated staff, students, parents, and partnerships forged within our community. We strive to provide all our students with the experience of a well-rounded, challenging academic program that helps each child harness their unique abilities and strengths while working diligently on areas of opportunity. As parents and stakeholders, you are the most critical component to Redland’s success. I encourage you to continue to take an active role in your child’s education by providing an atmosphere that promotes quality work habits, values, and morals. In addition, there are many ways that you can become involved at school. Check out our awesome PTA. They do an outstanding job of supporting our school programs. Your participation in PTA is critical and with your continued support and involvement, we will continue to make great strides in preparing our students for success in future schooling as well as career readiness. Your child’s teacher is your best resource and I encourage you to build a positive relationship with them. I look forward to continuing making Redland Elementary a safe, secure, and successful learning environment where children feel welcomed, valued and appreciated and where they can learn to become model and productive citizens.

Sincerely,

ADRIAN MONTES, Principal
