I am honored to be the founding principal of the first school to open in Sunny Isles Beach and greatly appreciate the community’s warm welcome and support. We have shared the excitement of watching the school become a landmark of the community.

Sunny Isles Beach Community School, a K-8 Center, will emphasize mathematics, science, and technology throughout its curriculum so that its students will be well prepared to compete in an advanced academic and competitive economic world. The curriculum will be delivered by highly qualified teachers who utilize the latest technology and hands-on activities to engage students in studies that are relevant and meaningful to their world.

Sunny Isles Beach Community School, a K-8 Center, is scheduled to open in August 2008. The school will service Grades Pre-K through sixth. Seventh grade will be added in 2009-2010 and eighth grade in the 2010-2011 school year.

I eagerly await the day we officially open the doors of Sunny Isles Beach Community School.
