Wednesday May 8th, 2002 Miami-Dade County School Board
Member Dr. Robert B. Ingram presents a proclamation to
the Foundation for Democracy in Africa (President, Mr.
Fred Oladeinde, Mr. Anthony Okonmah, Mr. Dwayne Wynn,
Dr. Gershwin Blyden) as a highlight to the 5th annual
AfricanDo trade and investment symposium. The resolution
affirmed the School Board's commitment to creating an
enabling environment that allows students in Miami-Dade
County school district to develop an appreciation for
African culture. The Carol City feeder pattern has been
designated as pilot for this initiative. The community
is invited to participate in this educational endeavor.
