MIAMI-
Miami-Dade County School Board member Dr. Robert B. Ingram
is selected to The Black Economic Development Coalition,
Inc. d/b/a Tools For Change, 10th Anniversary- Hall of
Fame.
Tools For Change, was created in 1989 to
identify the "gaps" in the economic delivery
system for Black in Miami-Dade County. As a result of
years-long, fact finding efforts, the planned process
to stimulate Black economic Development was prepared -Tools
For Change.
In the past 10 years, Tools For Change
has assisted over 5, 000 individuals and businesses. As
we move into the 21st Century, we will continue to stimulate
business opportunities, job and income development, and
expand into other essential areas such as infrastructure
development.
Tools For Change has been in service as a "Change
Agent" for minority businesses located in Miami-Dade
County, Florida.
Because Dr. Bob has been an outstanding
member of the community and instrumental in the success
of Tools For Change, he was awarderd a certificate and
his name will be on a plaque housed at Tools For Change.
